General Manager - Restaurant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations with passion and precision. Duties

• Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
• Manage inventory control, food production, and food handling procedures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation, customer service, food safety, and operational procedures to develop a skilled team.
• Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols at all times.
• Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at shift end.
• Foster a welcoming environment by engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, training & development, and leadership skills.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety management, and hospitality standards.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for budgeting, cash handling, and sales analysis.
• Excellent managerial communication skills with experience in interviewing, staff training, and performance evaluations.
• Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of managing profit & loss statements along with budgeting responsibilities.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining operational efficiency.

Pay: $50,500.00 - $65,000.00 per year
