About the role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead our two retail stores in Miri and drive the next phase of growth across Sarawak & East Malaysia.
Key responsibilities
- Full P&L ownership and overall profitability
- Drive sales, gross margin and sustainable business growth
- Lead and improve retail operations across both stores
- Manage inventory, costs and operational efficiency
- Strengthen brand image & customer experience
- Build and develop a high-performance retail team
- Identify new business and expansion opportunities in East Malaysia
About you
- 10+ years of retail management experience preferred
- Proven senior management / multi-store leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of P&L, sales, margins, inventory and cost control
- Proven track record in growing a profitable retail business
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Furniture, home living or lifestyle retail experience is an advantage
- Business or related degree is an advantage
