General Manager, Senior Director

For our client, we are seeking a General Manager, Senior Director to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.

This leader will oversee key partner relationships across a portfolio of external stakeholders, serving as a trusted strategic point of contact for senior leaders. The role is focused on strengthening partnership health, resolving complex issues, and driving sustainable growth through thoughtful contract management and portfolio performance.

The position also plays an important cross-functional role in maintaining partner sentiment, monitoring metrics, and aligning strategies that support long-term program and revenue outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $147,000 – $170,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for partners, building trusted partnerships with senior leaders
• Act as the escalation point for complex issues, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain awareness of partner sentiment through regular check-ins and feedback loops
• Strategically manage the health and performance of the partner portfolio
• Regularly review portfolio metrics to drive improvements
• Own the strategic development and negotiation of partner contracts
• Design and implement strategies for sustainable program and revenue growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• 5-7 years of experience managing external clients/partners
• Demonstrated expertise in the field's concepts and practices
• Record of success in building and sustaining partnerships
• Experience in both dynamic and established environments
