General Manager

A leading civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee operations, drive growth initiatives, and lead project execution across the business. This role will be responsible for overall performance, including operations, financial results, client relationships, and strategic expansion.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for daily operations and project execution
• Oversee P&L performance, budgeting, and forecasting
• Develop and execute growth and business development strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners
• Lead and mentor operations, project management, and field teams
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience within heavy civil, infrastructure, utilities, or site development construction
• Proven experience managing large-scale operations and multiple project teams
• Strong business development and client relationship skills
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
• Demonstrated ability to scale operations and drive company growth
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building abilities
