General Manager, Student Accommodation

Our client is expanding its student accommodation portfolio in Hong Kong and is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead property operations, business performance, and future expansion initiatives. This leadership role will oversee existing residential assets and support the launch of upcoming projects, ensuring excellent customer experience, strong occupancy performance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operations of the student accommodation portfolio.
• Drive occupancy, revenue performance, and resident satisfaction.
• Develop and implement operational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Manage and mentor operational teams to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with leasing, marketing, and asset management teams to enhance portfolio performance.
• Build relationships with universities, educational institutions, and relevant stakeholders.
• Support pre-opening, project planning, and future expansion initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Property Management, or related disciplines.
• At least 10 years of management experience in hospitality, student accommodation, co-living, serviced apartments, residential operations, or related sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience driving occupancy and business growth.
• Hands-on leadership style and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in multi-site operations, portfolio management, or new project setup is highly preferred.
• Candidates from chain hotel operators, student accommodation providers, or PBSA platforms are welcome.
• Cantonese is preferred but not essential.
• Good command of English and Chinese.
