General Manager - Technical (Polymer)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical operations related to polymer engineering, including product development, process optimization, and quality improvement.
• Troubleshoot complex production, processing, and material-related issues to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Provide expert technical guidance on polymer selection, formulation, and application based on market and customer requirements.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing efficiency, yield, and product consistency.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D teams to implement technical solutions and best practices.
• Analyze market trends, new technologies, and competitor products to support innovation and business growth.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 15–20 years of extensive hands-on experience in polymer engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with proven technical expertise.
• In-depth knowledge of polymer processing, materials, and applications.
• Excellent understanding of market trends and customer-driven technical requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
