About the brand

My client is a fast-growing, multi-outlet casual dining chain in HK and APAC, specializing in popular Asian cuisine with a strong focus on quality, speed, and customer satisfaction. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead their operations, marketing, HR, training etc and drive the continued expansion and success of our brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operations of multiple restaurants, ensuring high standards in food quality, service excellence, and customer experience.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
• Oversee daily operations including inventory management, supply chain, kitchen efficiency, and front-of-house service.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and retain high-performing team members; foster a positive and high-performance culture.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, licensing, and all relevant government regulations (FEHD, Labour Department, etc.).
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, guest feedback, staff turnover, and operational efficiency; take corrective actions when necessary.
• Work closely with central support teams (Marketing, Finance, HR, Procurement) to execute brand initiatives and new projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, cost efficiency, and customer loyalty programs.
• Manage restaurant maintenance, renovation projects, and facility standards.
• Represent the company professionally and handle escalated customer issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the F&B industry, with at least 4-5 years in a multi-unit General Manager or senior operations role.
• Proven track record in managing profitable restaurant operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop large teams (experience managing 100+ staff across outlets is highly preferred).
• Deep understanding of Hong Kong F&B market trends, cost control, and P&L management.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in both English and Cantonese (Putonghua is a plus).
• Hands-on, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure with flexible hours.
• Knowledge of POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
