General Manager/Owner

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and visionary General Manager/Owner to lead and oversee all aspects of our restaurant operation. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader who can drive sales, manage daily operations, and foster a positive team environment. As the driving force behind the store’s success, you will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational excellence. Duties

• Lead and manage daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, and customer service standards.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and employee engagement.
• Oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting to maintain fiscal health.
• Manage purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory management to maximize profitability while minimizing waste.
• Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, cashiering procedures, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure smooth store functioning.
• Implement merchandising plans and oversee stock replenishment to enhance product presentation and sales.
• Maintain excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and fostering a welcoming environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide training & development opportunities, and promote a cohesive work culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies, and operational procedures at all times.

Skills

• Strong management skills with proven experience in retail store leadership and team supervision.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
• Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory control to drive profitability.
• Proficient in POS systems, bookkeeping software, payroll processing, and basic math for financial accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development.
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership qualities with experience in retail industry sales team management and operational oversight.
• Knowledge of retail math including sales management metrics and budgeting principles.
• Customer service expertise with phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience with grocery or specialty retail stores is a plus; familiarity with merchandising and stock management is essential.

Pay: $64,000.00 - $77,200.00 per year
