A few of our clients the Nelson/Richmond area are leading New Zealand producers of high-quality solid timber products supplied to both domestic and international markets.
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Casual Mill Hands to join the teams across day, afternoon and night shifts. This role is ideal for:

• Parents looking for different hours to mould around family commitments
• Cleaners or workers wanting additional hours
• Students seeking part-time or holiday work
• Anyone looking for hands-on casual work on different hours of the day

About the RoleThis is an entry-level opportunity and key duties include:

• Cleaning work areas and equipment
• Sweeping and shovelling wood debris
• Assisting with general labouring tasks as needed
• Supporting safe and efficient mill operations

What We’re Looking For

• Commitment to following health and safety guidelines
• Practical, reliable and hardworking attitude
• Good understanding of the English language for Health & Safety reasons
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
