Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive wiring diagram interpretation to execute repairs efficiently.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake service, wheel alignments, and suspension system repairs to keep vehicles operating at peak performance.
• Diagnose complex electrical systems and automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical faults effectively.
• Repair diesel engines and transmission systems with attention to detail and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, estimating service costs accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Experience

• Proven dealership or automotive service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
• Familiarity with schematics, automotive electrical systems, and vehicle systems troubleshooting is essential.
• Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of vehicle transmission system repair, vehicle suspension system repair, wheel alignment, and diesel engine repair is preferred.
• Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships.
• Prior experience working with automotive wiring diagrams and understanding complex vehicle electronics will set you apart.

Pay: $20.00 - $54.00 per hour
