We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Operative to join our team in Togher, Cork. This role is ideally suited to someone with previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, engineering, or industrial environment who enjoys a hands-on role and working as part of a team.

Important Information

Applicants must currently have unrestricted permission to work in Ireland (e.g. Irish/EU citizenship or Stamp 4 permission). Employer sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Shot blasting and deburring of components
• Painting and finishing of products
• Packing and preparing finished products for shipment
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Receiving and dispatching parts and products
• Local collections and deliveries as required
• General housekeeping and maintenance of work areas
• Supporting manufacturing and warehouse activities as required

Additional duties may be assigned from time to time in line with business and departmental requirements.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, engineering, or industrial environment
• A valid forklift licence and practical forklift experience
• Pallet stacker experience
• A full clean driving licence
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safety

Desirable Experience

• Previous industrial painting experience
• Experience handling finished engineering products
• Experience with shipping and receiving operations
