For more than 87 years, Lubbock Children’s Health Clinic (LCHC) has served children and families throughout Lubbock and surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide high-quality pediatric care while connecting families with resources that support their health and well-being.

We are seeking a caring, team-oriented part-time physician to join our clinics in North and East Lubbock. You will provide pediatric care, work alongside experienced nurse practitioners, and provide clinical oversight that supports our shared commitment to excellent patient care.

A Supportive Place to Practice

Our two newly renovated clinics feature beautiful exam rooms and onsite labs. You will work with two full-time and one part-time nurse practitioner, along with a dedicated staff who share a commitment to helping children thrive. Administrative support is provided.

Our clinics are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with no evening or weekend clinic hours and no call coverage.

Supporting Children and Families

At LCHC, our mission extends beyond the exam room. Alongside comprehensive pediatric care, we offer services at no cost to patients or their families, including:

• A food pantry supplied by the South Plains Food Bank
• A clothing boutique (a clothing closet)
• Individual and family counseling
• A diaper depot

These resources help families meet everyday needs and support your work as a physician, allowing you to provide care that considers the whole child. You’ll join a team committed to helping children thrive both inside and outside the exam room.

What You Will Do

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including physical examinations, preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and help families understand their child’s health needs.
• Work collaboratively with nurse practitioners and provide clinical oversight, guidance, and consultation.
• Collaborate with clinic staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records and protect patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
• Stay current with advances in pediatric medicine and contribute to improvements in patient care.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
