General Practitioner - 80% Private Billing

**80% of consults at this site are privately billed.**Bulk billing stops at under 16s, pensioners and concession card holders. Everyone else pays $70 to $105, which is why this site bills what it does.

Any days from 1 up, your choice, Saturdays included. Demand is steady, so even a single day runs full.

Remuneration

• Site Billings $3500 per day
• Private fees $70 standard consult, $105 long consult
• Around $2500 from consulting, the rest from procedures
• Procedures average $250, several a day is normal here
• Estimated GP share $2450 a day
• 70/30 GP split, lifting to 75% on Saturdays
• $175/hr guaranteed for the first 3 months

• Procedural work - IUDs, implants, iron infusions, minor surgery
• Chronic disease management
• Family medicine and paediatrics
• Preventative care and health assessments
• Book weighted to families and concession patients, so the chronic load never thins out

This is the group's strongest biller. A consulting room is set aside for you from day 1, in a practice running 6 to 8 rooms with treatment room, nursing support and onsite parking. The books are already full, so there is no ramp-up to fund yourself.
