General Practitioner

We are hiring a qualified and experienced General Practitioner (GP) to join a healthcare facility in Dubai.

The ideal candidate should be DHA Licensed or DHA Eligible and have good knowledge of medical insurance procedures, insurance approvals, referrals, medical coding, and insurance-based patient management. Experience working in an insurance-driven clinic environment will be highly preferred. (⁠)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
• Manage common acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide appropriate referrals to specialists when clinically required.
• Handle insurance-based consultations and ensure proper clinical documentation.
• Prepare accurate medical records, diagnoses, treatment plans, and referral notes.
• Have good understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding and insurance requirements.
• Coordinate with the insurance/claims team regarding approvals, rejections, and documentation.
• Ensure medical services are clinically justified and comply with insurance policies and DHA regulations.
• Maintain accurate EMR records and complete documentation for insurance claims.
• Provide patient education and appropriate follow-up care.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter.
• Previous UAE clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with medical insurance and insurance-based healthcare is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding and insurance authorization processes.
• Good understanding of DHA healthcare regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
• Immediate joiners will be an advantage.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
