About the role

Nurtured Thoughts is a Brisbane-based psychiatry and psychology clinic seeking a QLD-based VR General Practitioner to provide mental health care via telehealth.
You will assess and manage appropriate adult mental health presentations within GP scope, with clear referral pathways to psychiatry or other services for higher-risk or more complex cases.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct telehealth consultations with adult patients
• Assess and manage adult mental health presentations within GP scope
• Develop management plans and provide follow-up care
• Refer or escalate more complex or higher-risk cases where appropriate
• Complete standard clinical documentation
• Work within clear clinical protocols and referral pathways

About you

• Current AHPRA registration
• FRACGP or equivalent specialist GP qualification
• Vocationally Registered GP
• Based in Queensland and eligible to provide telehealth services to QLD patients
• Experience working in Australian General Practice
• Genuine interest in adult mental health
• Warm, reliable and comfortable working independently via telehealth
