About the role

We are seeking a General Practitioner to join Eirene Clinic on a casual basis in Mabalacat City, Pampanga. As a General Practitioner, you will be at the forefront of patient care, providing comprehensive medical services to individuals across all groups. This role is pivotal in our clinic's mission to deliver accessible and quality healthcare to our community. You will work flexibly as part of our healthcare team, with the opportunity to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments. The casual nature of this position offers flexibility whilst maintaining the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health and wellbeing.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting thorough patient consultations, taking comprehensive medical histories and performing physical examinations

• Diagnosing acute and chronic conditions based on clinical findings and diagnostic test results

• Developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs

• Prescribing medications and providing clear guidance on medication use and potential side effects

• Managing routine health issues including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, minor injuries and other common ailments

• Providing preventative care advice, health promotion and disease prevention strategies

• Referring patients to specialists when necessary and ensuring continuity of care

• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations

• Staying informed of current medical best practices and clinical guidelines

What we're looking for

• A valid medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognised institution
• Active medical licence and registration with appropriate regulatory bodies in the Philippines
• Proven experience as a General Practitioner or equivalent primary care setting
• Strong clinical knowledge and competency in general medicine and common health conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions within scope of practice
• Flexibility and adaptability suited to a casual working arrangement
• Current knowledge of medical best practices and commitment to evidence-based medicine
• Professional demeanour with a patient-centred approach to healthcare delivery
• Preferred experience in community healthcare settings or primary care clinics
