Position Overview

Worldwide Medical Centre (WMC) is seeking a qualified and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) to join our clinical team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary healthcare services, assessing and diagnosing patients, developing appropriate treatment plans, and ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical safety.

The GP will work closely with the multidisciplinary medical and administrative teams to deliver patient-centred healthcare while maintaining accurate medical documentation and complying with applicable UAE healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, medical examinations, and health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with approved clinical guidelines.
• Order and interpret relevant laboratory investigations, diagnostic tests, and imaging reports.
• Provide preventive healthcare, health education, and lifestyle counselling.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans when clinically required.
• Identify medical conditions requiring specialist intervention and provide appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient medical records.
• Provide appropriate emergency assessment and initial management when required.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures and clinic safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in medical camps, health screening programs, and community wellness initiatives when required.
• Ensure all clinical documentation, prescriptions, reports, and referrals are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain professional standards of patient communication, confidentiality, ethics, and conduct.
• Comply with UAE healthcare regulations, DHA requirements, and WMC policies and procedures.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and relevant training programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Valid DHA eligibility/license to practice as a General Practitioner in Dubai.
• Relevant clinical experience as a General Practitioner is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of primary care, preventive medicine, and management of common medical conditions.
• Good clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Strong patient-centred approach and professional bedside manner.
• Good knowledge of electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
