General Practitioner

We’re seeking a caring and committed General Practitioner to join a great clinic and multidisciplinary team. This is an ideal role for someone who values collaboration, professional development, and a workplace that feels welcoming and supportive from day one.

Position overview
As a key member of the team, you will deliver high quality care while working alongside a passionate team, consisting of experienced administrators, nurses, HIPs, health coach and pharmacist. They are a teaching practice with a strong Clinical Lead and a history of supporting their staff at different stages of their careers. 

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, patient centred care
• Work collaboratively with the wider team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Options to work across a variety of clinics alongside standard general practice, such as travel, diabetes, ear, skin, minor procedures (on site theatres)

Essential skills and experience

• Hold Fellowship with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) or be working towards this qualification.
• Hold a valid medical degree and be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
• A genuine commitment to patient centred and culturally responsive care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to equity and high quality patient care
