Lyttelton Health is a well-established, community-focused general practice just a few minutes through the tunnel from Christchurch. We are looking for a GP to join our friendly and supportive team from early 2027.

We are an owner-operated practice with a strong focus on providing great care to our local community. We highly value continuity of care - our GPs all have a personal list of patients and are supported by the excellent practice team and our collegial approach to work to provide excellent primary care for our patients. We are a busy but friendly practice where people know each other, support each other and genuinely enjoy working together.

Imagine heading to work each morning with the stunning Lyttelton Harbour and Port Hills right outside your door. We’re close enough to Christchurch to make the commute easy, but far enough away to feel like you’ve escaped the city. About you

We are looking for a GP who is a good communicator, enjoys working as part of a team and takes a genuine interest in their patients and the wider community.

We would love someone who will contribute to our team culture, share ideas and enjoy being part of a practice where everyone plays a part.

You must have current registration to practise in New Zealand.
