We are looking to hire General Practitioner / Medical Officer

• Salary – up to $ 2000 - $ 2500, INR 23 LPA – 28 LPA
• Job Location – Bangui, Central African Republic
• Qualification - MBBS, MD , MS

We are currently in the process of establishing a new medical centre in Bangui, Central African Republic, which will provide General OPD consultations, basic clinical services, emergency assessment, observation, and patient referral services.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced General Practitioner / Medical Officer to join our medical centre.

Position: General Practitioner / Medical Officer – Clinic & International Medical Coordination

Location: Bangui, Central African Republic

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: USD 2,000–2,500 per month, depending on qualifications and experience

Reporting To: Medical Director / Clinic Management

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily OPD consultations and manage routine medical conditions.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Provide initial assessment and management of emergency and urgent cases.
• Stabilize patients and arrange appropriate referral or medical evacuation when required.
• Perform basic clinical procedures within the doctor’s scope of practice.
• Manage patients requiring short-term observation and basic clinical care.
• Coordinate with local and international hospitals, specialists, and healthcare providers.
• Assess patients who may require specialized treatment abroad and coordinate international medical referrals.
• Communicate with overseas hospitals and specialists regarding treatment options, appointments, medical reports, and referrals.
• Coordinate pre-travel medical assessments and follow-up after overseas treatment.
• Maintain accurate medical records, prescriptions, reports, and referral documentation.
• Coordinate with laboratory, nursing, pharmacy, and other clinical teams.
• Support corporate and expatriate medical check-ups and occupational health services.
• Provide health education and preventive healthcare services.
• Maintain appropriate infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Provide clinical guidance to local clinic staff and support the smooth operation of the centre.

Qualifications & Experience

MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical qualification.

Valid medical registration/licence to practice.

Preferably 2–10 years of experience as a General Practitioner/Medical Officer.

Experience in OPD and emergency patient management

Experience working in Africa, India, or another international healthcare environment would be an advantage.

Experience with international medical referrals or medical tourism would be an advantage.

good English communication skills are highly desirable.

Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment.
