Waiuku Health Centre is looking for a General Practitioner to join our collegial practice in Waiuku, South Auckland.

We offer full-time or part-time employment, with flexibility and genuine input into how your working week is structured. Whether you are an experienced GP or progressing through vocational training, this is an opportunity to enjoy rewarding community medicine while maintaining a sustainable work–life balance.

General practice is demanding. Our aim is to give our GPs the support and space they need to focus on being doctors, while having greater control over how work fits into their lives.

You will work alongside experienced GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants and a prescribing clinical pharmacist, with strong administrative and management support. Our team-based approach, including clinical triage and telehealth, helps ensure GP expertise is used where it adds the greatest value.

• Competitive remuneration reflecting experience and stage of training (The remuneration range advertised is the annualised contractor remuneration for 1.0 FTE. Remuneration will reflect the agreed number of sessions/hours worked)

Teaching and Development

Waiuku Health Centre is an accredited teaching practice. We welcome vocationally registered GPs, GPEP Years 2 and 3 registrars, and doctors planning to enter GP vocational training.
