General Practitioner (GP) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Tōtara Health is looking for General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners with compassion and care to join our busy and dynamic practice. We have full-time and part-time roles available and offer competitive remuneration.

We serve a population of Māori, Pacific and low-income New Zealanders and have built and grown our general practice to serve this community. We operate a multidisciplinary model that enables clinicians to focus on delivering high-quality clinical care while being supported by management and the wider team. This includes:

About You

You will:

• Hold current registration with either the Medical Council of New Zealand or the Nursing Council of New Zealand (with Nurse Practitioner scope), or be actively working towards obtaining New Zealand registration.
• Be a team player who can work autonomously.
• Have practical experience in general practice (preferred).
• Practise evidence-based medicine and preventative care.
• Be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Most importantly, be a compassionate and caring clinician with a commitment to improving equity for our community of enrolled patients.
