General Practitioner Merewether & Hamilton

Work with heart , Grow your future & be with people the people that are truly invested in your happiness, wellbeing & success

An invitation to join our family at Family Circle Medical Practice, Hamilton, and Merewether Family Practice, Merewether, Newcastle.

We believe meaningful medicine begins with time to listen, freedom to practise your way with people who have your back.

We’re welcoming GPs who want to build lasting patient relationships, contribute their ideas, find a place where they feel valued and belong.

A place to practise with purpose

Private billing that respects your time and expertise. Longer consultations that make room for thoughtful care. Clinical autonomy, supported by nursing and administration teams who help your day run smoothly.

Best Practice with remote access, AI Scribe, and access to pathology, allied health and specialist colleagues help you focus on the work you love.

A place to grow

Bring your interests, your experience and your ambitions. Whether you want to develop a clinical interest, teach, mentor or contribute to the direction of the practice, we welcome that conversation.

Your voice matters here. We grow stronger when our people grow.

A place to belong

We value kindness, integrity, humour and the everyday acts that make a team feel connected: checking in, sharing knowledge, celebrating progress and helping each other through a demanding day.

We want you to feel comfortable being yourself and proud of the care we deliver together.

A place for your life, too

Part-time or full-time, with flexible hours shaped around your life. School hours, later starts or earlier finishes—let’s find a rhythm that works.

No weekends. No public holidays.

Two Newcastle locations. A shared commitment to excellent care, human connection and a fulfilling life beyond medicine.

Already local? Come and meet us.

If you’re excited about a fresh chapter, Dr Ravi Stephen would love a chat about what matters to you and what the universe has in store for you.

Good medicine. Room to grow. A place to belong.
