General Production Associate

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented General Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. Duties

• Safely move raw materials, finished products, and components within the manufacturing facility
• Interpret production documents, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to ensure precise execution of tasks
• Use measuring instruments and mechanical knowledge to verify dimensions and quality standards during assembly processes
• Conduct manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards in production and lean manufacturing principles
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions for workflow optimization

Qualifications

• Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred
• Experience with warehouse procedures is advantageous
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines is essential
• Mechanical knowledge combined with assembly line experience enables effective task execution
• Ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively when required
• Strong communication skills for interpreting technical documents and collaborating with team members
