Job Summary

The Coiler is responsible for ensuring products are coiled, perforated, and packaged to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and production performance, in that order. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work and contributes to a safe and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily stretch and bend meetings with the shift team
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
• Learn and understand production processes; ask questions when needed
• Ensure all products meet quality standards; report issues immediately
• Escalate unresolved machine or product issues to the supervisor
• Assist in training new team members
• Ensure products are properly coiled, tied, and perforated to correct specifications
• Accurately complete production paperwork (weights, product type, etc.)
• Assist with machine cleaning, repairs, and changeovers as needed
• Support operators with rework (repairing or grinding defective product)
• Help other production lines and team members as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/production setting
• Requires standing, lifting, and working with machinery
