About Us:

Huyck provides manufacturing companies with a wide range of Industrial Supplies and specializes in coatings. We are looking to fill two full-time positions in our Powder Coating Department. The Powder Coating Department is a manually operated production line that requires team members to be physically fit and to enjoy being busy.

Role/Qualifications:

You will:

Assist in any of the Powder Coating Stations as required to support production throughout the line. You could be working in our Prep, Hanging or Packaging stations:

• Hanging – Hanging material onto overhead bars, pushing /pulling bars in and out of oven(s) and coating booth(s)
• Prep – Pulling material to fill orders, inspecting material for flaws, preparing material for coating (ex. cutting, drilling holes, sanding), racking material in preparation for dipping
• Packaging – Pushing/pulling loadbars in and out of oven, remove material from overhead bars, inspect paint quality, package per customer specifications
• Be able to push and pull heavy metal profiles on manual transfer load bar system
• Be physically fit, able to be active on the job and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
• Be able to complete work orders accurately, capable of speaking, reading and writing English
• Have excellent attention to detail - frequent quality checks are a must
• Have excellent attendance – this position is 36-40 hours per week.
• Monday through Thursday from 7:00am - 4:30pm (Fridays Off!)
• Forklift experience/certification an asset
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada and reside in the Lower Mainland
