General Production Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Worker to join our team in a dynamic work environment. This role involves tasks like feeding materials into production equipment, operating label-printing machinery, inspecting labels for defects, and packing products for shipment.

Duties:

• Operating Equipment: Operate various label-printing machinery and other production equipment, following safety procedures and instructions.
• Material Handling: Prepare and feed raw materials into production machines, ensuring correct quantities and quality.
• Packing and Shipping: Prepare finished products for shipment, including packing and labeling for proper identification.
• Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to safety regulations and health guidelines.
• Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of production runs, including machine usage, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Problem Solving: Identify and report equipment malfunctions or issues with product quality, collaborating with supervisors and technicians.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and correct defects in labels and products.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to read and interpret measurements and calculations.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other production workers and supervisors.
• Active Listening: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Basic education required.
• Prior Experience: Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
