General Service Technician

We are an independent automotive repair/collision repair shop in the West County area! We are Family owned since 1973. We have a friendly, fun, low stress environment. We have a steady flow of long-term customers that keep us busy year-round. So much so we need to add to our team. We work Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:30. No weekends or evenings. We are also off on all major holidays. We are looking for a full-time beginner or intermediate level Automotive Technician with:

• A Positive Attitude!
• Certifications are not required but certainly a plus!
• Prior Automotive Experience is preferred.
• Good Communication Skills
• A Professional Appearance
• Ability to perform the following tasks: Oil changes, Tire rotations/replacements, Alignments, Battery replacements, General Maintenance, etc. More if applicable

General Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Performing general automotive maintenance and repair services across many makes and models
• Completing all work orders correctly and accurately
• Maintaining accurate and organized notes and paperwork on all jobs
• Practicing safe work principles
• Shop housekeeping, i.e. keep work area clean, safe and organized

Applicant Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Recipients of a high school diploma or GED
• In possession of a valid driver's license
• Familiar with multiple makes and models of vehicles
• Dependable, honest and organized
• Ability to receive instruction and to follow procedures
• Training in automotive repair, is a plus, but not required. If you are committed to keeping up-to-date on automotive knowledge, we will help you!
• Some experience in vehicle maintenance, including the use of tools

Performing Oil Changes

Mounting, balancing, and rotating tires

Performing minor Diagnostic and trouble shooting etc.
