Key Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and tire services including installation, rotation, and alignment
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Collaborate effectively with team members to complete service requests promptly
• Provide enthusiastic and clear communication with customers about their vehicle’s needs

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a General Service Technician or similar mechanic role preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on automotive repair skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting
• Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus

Our Fayetteville roots
Harrell’s began as a radiator specialty shop on Gillespie Street in 1945. Luther Harrell opened the business after serving in World War II. His son, Charlie Harrell, incorporated the family business in 1978 and expanded it to include auto parts and distribution.
In 1997, Charlie sold the distribution company and returned his focus to auto and truck service, opening a facility next door to the radiator shop. The business later expanded with additional shops serving Fayetteville and surrounding communities. Today, Harrell’s continues its family-owned tradition through the generations of Luther, Charlie and Brandon Harrell.
