About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Services Manager to join our team at our Silang Cavite facility on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and management of all general services at the Club, ensuring that our facilities remain in exceptional condition and that all systems operate efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating infrastructure projects, managing maintenance schedules, and supervising teams to deliver outstanding service standards that reflect our commitment to excellence. This position is integral to maintaining the physical integrity and operational efficiency of our facility.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily maintenance and repair of buildings, and all facility systems
• Manage budgets for general services, maintenance supplies, and equipment procurement
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialised maintenance and repair work
• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks and projects
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, grounds, and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facility operations
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance programmes
• Manage emergency repairs and respond promptly to urgent operational issues
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and facility assets
• Collaborate with other departments to support events and special activities at the club
• Prepare reports on facility conditions and recommendations for improvements or upgrades

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in facilities management, general services, or infrastructure maintenance
• Strong knowledge of building systems, structural integrity, maintenance practices, and safety standards
• Proven experience in managing maintenance teams and supervising operational staff
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and procurement management
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Knowledge of local regulations, building codes, and environmental compliance requirements in the Philippines
• Experience with facilities management software and basic computer proficiency
• Preferred: Experience in hospitality, golf club, or resort facilities management
• Preferred: Professional certifications in facilities management or engineering disciplines
