Texas or Virginia - Fully Site-Based - Monday to Friday (Home Fridays)

Base salary up to $250,000

A growing US construction business is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field execution on major, complex projects.

This is a senior role for someone who can run a project from mobilization through final turnover across all trades - leading the field team, coordinating subcontractors, driving schedule and quality, and resolving issues before they impact delivery.

Projects span mission critical, healthcare, aviation/airport and other complex construction environments. Experience across multiple sectors is valuable; the strongest candidates will bring genuine breadth rather than a narrowly defined background.

The Role

• Own field execution from project start through completion and turnover.
• Lead civil, structural, architectural, MEP and specialty scopes.
• Direct Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, subcontractors and trade partners.
• Establish sequencing, logistics, manpower planning and short/long-term schedules.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity and schedule performance.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they become project-level problems.
• Coordinate closely with Project Management, owners, consultants and senior leadership.
• Lead inspections, commissioning, punch, closeout and turnover.

What We're Looking For

• Proven ability to lead major projects end-to-end across all trades.
• Strong command of field operations, sequencing, logistics and schedule.
• Experience leading large field teams and complex subcontractor environments.
• Ability to make decisions, solve problems and maintain accountability without constant escalation.
• Experience in mission critical, healthcare, aviation/airport or similarly complex construction.
• A broad project background rather than experience limited to one vertical.
• Strong owner, consultant and trade-partner communication.
• Willingness to work 100% on site, Monday–Friday, with home time Fridays.
• Reasonable access to a major commercial airport.
• Able to work on projects in Texas or Virginia. Candidates based in California or New York are not being considered.

The Opportunity

This is a General Superintendent / Lead Superintendent-level opportunity for someone trusted to take ownership of complex project execution.

Base salary can reach $250,000 for a candidate who brings the required project scale, trade breadth and field leadership.
