With decades of combined experience and a strong portfolio of successful data center builds, our team is committed to delivering high-performance infrastructure that meets rigorous industry standards.

Our integrated approach brings together design, engineering, procurement, and construction expertise to ensure precision, speed, quality, and strong project execution at every stage.

Role Summary

The General Superintendent is responsible for leading day-to-day field execution across assigned data center buildings, phases, or work areas.

Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, discipline superintendents, Safety, QAQC, Logistics, and subcontractors, the General Superintendent coordinates site activities, manpower, equipment, construction sequencing, and installation readiness.

The position plays a key role in maintaining safe and organized field operations, resolving trade conflicts, monitoring productivity, and preparing completed work for testing, commissioning, and turnover.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Site Operations

Scheduling & Trade Coordination

  • Develop and communicate look-ahead schedules and daily execution priorities
  • Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical work
  • Identify sequencing conflicts and constraints before they affect progress
  • Track installation quantities, workforce productivity, and subcontractor performance
  • Coordinate corrective and recovery actions with project leadership

Safety & Quality Management

  • Enforce the project safety plan and required field controls
  • Stop or escalate unsafe work and coordinate corrective actions
  • Work with QAQC personnel to plan inspections and verify installation readiness
  • Ensure deficiencies are identified, assigned, and resolved promptly
  • Reinforce workmanship standards and adherence to approved drawings and specifications

Commissioning, Reporting & Turnover

  • Align construction completion with testing, energization, and commissioning milestones
  • Coordinate field support for inspections, equipment start-up, and commissioning activities
  • Maintain daily field reporting and communicate progress, constraints, and risks
  • Coordinate punch-list completion and work-area handover
  • Support completion of field records and turnover documentation

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of construction field experience, including 5+ years in superintendent or senior field leadership roles
  • Direct experience supervising data center construction, preferably hyperscale or multi-building projects
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple trades and discipline superintendents
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, MEP interfaces, and installation sequencing
  • Experience managing workforce plans, look-ahead schedules, and subcontractor performance
  • Strong knowledge of site logistics, construction methods, quality requirements, and safety controls
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • OSHA 30-hour construction training
  • Familiarity with Procore or similar field-reporting platforms
  • Experience within an EPC or General Contractor environment is preferred
