Company Overview

Wrecking Ball Demolition & Abatement, LLC has been providing demolition and abatement services throughout Washington since 1998. We specialize in tenant improvements, complete demolition, and environmental abatement, including asbestos, lead, and mold.

We are seeking an experienced construction leader to oversee field operations, develop Foremen, and ensure projects meet company standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

Position Overview

The General Superintendent – Demolition oversees field operations across multiple projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. This role focuses on developing Foremen, coordinating resources, maintaining accountability, and delivering strong project performance and customer satisfaction.

Working closely with Project Managers, Foremen, and the Scheduler, the General Superintendent resolves field challenges, manages competing priorities, and keeps projects on track.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Foremen and field personnel.
• Establish and enforce company standards for safety, quality, productivity, documentation, and professionalism.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor performance, provide coaching, and address concerns.
• Oversee multiple projects, coordinating schedules, project startups, phasing, and resource needs with Project Managers, Foremen, and the Scheduler.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and resource utilization; identify risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Hold Foremen accountable for project execution, communication, documentation, and timely resolution of issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, General Contractors, suppliers, and trade partners.
• Serve as the primary field contact for escalated project issues and customer concerns.
• Promote a strong safety culture through jobsite inspections, safety audits, incident reviews, and corrective action follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Participate in employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, and workforce development.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of five years of supervisory or Foreman experience in construction.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects and manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to coach employees, set expectations, and hold team members accountable.
• Knowledge of construction operations, jobsite safety, scheduling, and project coordination.
• Commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
