General Technician

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, including split units, central AC, chillers, and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems and carry out necessary repairs.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and components to ensure reliable operation.
• Replace and adjust defective or worn-out parts, including belts, motors, filters, switches, and other components.
• Refill, monitor, and maintain refrigerant levels while following proper refrigerant handling and storage procedures.
• Ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and comply with energy conservation standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Perform basic welding, cutting, grinding, and metal fabrication works for maintenance and repair purposes.
• Carry out plumbing repairs, including fixing leaking pipes, faucets, valves, drainage systems, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of water supply lines, sanitary fixtures, and drainage systems.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, including minor carpentry, painting, wall repairs, ceiling repairs, and basic building maintenance.
• Carry out basic electrical maintenance, such as replacing switches, lighting fixtures, and other components within the scope of authorization.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and facilities to identify defects and report maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records, preventive maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory.
• Comply with workplace safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and applicable building codes.
• Coordinate with other technicians and departments to complete maintenance works, repairs, and installations efficiently.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide after-hours support when required.
