Duties

• Assist with loading and unloading shipments using forklifts and other mechanical equipment
• Manage stock levels through accurate stocking, picking, and packing of items
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records
• Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing goods for dispatch or receipt
• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper handling techniques to prevent damage
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill order requirements efficiently and accurately

Skills

• Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts safely
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms
• Strong materials handling skills with an emphasis on heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge
• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within construction or industrial settings
• Ability to perform picking & packing tasks accurately under time constraints
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and load & unload operations
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
