General Worker (APA Crew)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform servicing, maintenance, and refilling of Dry Powder and CO₂ Fire Extinguishers according to company procedures and applicable safety requirements.

2. Inspect Fire Extinguishers for any damage, defects, leakage, or faulty components during the servicing process and report the findings accordingly.

3. Ensure the BOMBA licence and maintenance/service labels are properly attached, intact, and clearly visible before the Fire Extinguishers are returned to the customer.

4. Conduct final checks on all serviced Fire Extinguishers to ensure they are in good working condition and ready for delivery.

5. Arrange and park all outgoing Fire Extinguishers according to the next day's delivery or collection schedule.

6. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Fire Extinguisher servicing area, including proper handling and storage of cylinders, powder, CO₂, and other servicing materials.

7. Assist in loading, unloading, moving, and arranging Fire Extinguishers for servicing, storage, and delivery when required.

8. Support other departments when required.

9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Storekeeper, Head of Department, or related personnel.

Requirements:

• Able to carry heavy materials.

• Able to read and write.

• Able to understand Bahasa Melayu and English.

• Able to follow basic instructions and perform simple calculations.

• Responsible, hardworking, punctual, and willing to learn.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to perform other duties as directed by the Storekeeper or Head of Department.
