About the role

We are seeking a General Worker to join our dynamic team at Inovatif Motor Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu District, Sabah. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our automotive operations. As a General Worker, you will contribute to the smooth functioning of our workshop and service facilities, assisting with various tasks that keep our business running efficiently. This role is essential to maintaining our operational standards and supporting our skilled technicians in delivering quality service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist technicians and mechanics with general workshop tasks and vehicle servicing activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop, service areas and equipment
• Handle and organise automotive parts, tools and materials in accordance with safety standards
• Support the preparation of vehicles for maintenance and repair work
• Assist with vehicle cleaning and detailing services
• Perform general maintenance tasks around the facility as directed
• Follow all health and safety protocols and procedures within the workplace
• Assist with basic stock management and inventory tracking
• Support customer service operations and maintain a professional demeanour
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by management

What we're looking for

• Willingness to learn and develop skills within the automotive industry
• Physical capability to perform manual and labour-intensive tasks
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop environment
• Good communication skills and a helpful attitude towards colleagues and customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Previous experience in automotive or similar trades environment is advantageous but not essential
• Relevant certifications or training in occupational safety would be beneficial
• Prefer with motor & driving license.
