General Worker – Production

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious General Worker to join our Production team. The successful candidate will support daily production operations by maintaining cleanliness, handling materials, assisting operators, and ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Label drums and boxes accurately.
• Stack and store raw materials and finished products safely.
• Clean production equipment, machinery, and factory floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of the factory yard and surrounding areas.
• Assist Operators and Formulators with general production duties.
• Follow all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) policies and procedures.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as instructed by the Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Training in the Handling and Storage of Hazardous Chemicals and Dangerous Goods.
• Fire Fighting Training.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be an added advantage.

Knowledge Requirements

• Good physical strength and endurance.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to maintain concentration while performing repetitive tasks.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work safely in a chemical manufacturing environment.
