What they need
- Assist with the installation of fire protection systems, including sprinkler pipes, hose reels, hydrants and related equipment.
- Carry, load, unload and arrange pipes, fittings, tools and materials at the work site.
- Assist technicians and supervisors with measuring, cutting, threading and assembling pipes under supervision.
- Prepare work areas and support installation, testing, maintenance and repair work.
- Keep tools, materials and work areas clean, organised and secure.
- Follow site safety rules, use the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and report hazards or damaged equipment.
- Carry out other site duties as instructed by the supervisor.
