General Worker (TES)

Job Advert Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Worker to support daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced FMCG environment. The successful candidate will assist with receiving, packing, loading, offloading, stock handling, cleaning, and maintaining warehouse standards to ensure efficient distribution of goods.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of a Matric.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role preferred.
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification an advantage).
• Strong attention to detail to handle stock accurately and avoid errors.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy items safely.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills for stock counting and documentation.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication skills to report issues and work effectively within a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required in a fast-paced setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and store incoming stock correctly.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and offloading delivery vehicles.
• Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe atall times.
• Conduct stock counting and assist with inventory control.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Report damaged stock, shortages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment where authorized.
• Support other warehouse duties as required.
