Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Generation Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction activities, plant projects, maintenance, and outages at a power generation facility.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in power plant operations or maintenance, heavy industrial construction, project management, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction activities across multiple craft disciplines, ensuring contractor safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and schedule compliance.
• Manage multiple construction contracts and determine appropriate contracting strategies.
• Provide constructability input during the design phase.
• Evaluate contractor manpower requirements and ensure efficient allocation of field resources.
• Supervise construction supervisors and contractor personnel, providing leadership and guidance.
• Coordinate with project and construction management on contract changes, extra work, and project controls.
• Build strong working relationships with plant personnel, contractors, vendors, engineers, and union representatives.
• Coordinate storm preparedness and project restoration activities.
• Support multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high safety and performance standards.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive related experience in power plant operations, maintenance, or construction.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, safety programs, and project management practices.
• Proven leadership, communication, team-building, and personnel management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects, schedules, resources, and priorities.
• Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments, including elevated platforms and confined spaces.
• Ability to travel between power generation facilities as required and obtain a passport.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or a related field.
• Managerial experience in heavy industrial construction or project management.

Working Conditions

• Onsite role with potential 24/7 project support requirements.
• Work in varying weather conditions and industrial environments.
• Frequent travel between assigned power generation facilities.
• Physical activity, including walking, bending, climbing stairs, and accessing elevated or confined areas.
