The Role

Beautiful Destinations is looking for an AI/Creative Developer who can combine technical engineering with a trained creative eye - building AI systems that produce exceptional content and make creative workflows faster, smarter and more scalable.

This is a dual-focus role spanning generative AI content pipelines and AI agents. You'll transform existing travel footage into high-quality, on-brand image and video variations at scale, building the pipelines that take today's hands-on creative process into production. Alongside this, you'll develop AI agents that can interpret briefs, run generation workflows, evaluate outputs and deliver results through our production platform.

Your work will go straight into client delivery for leading global brands and power our AI content product for hotels, currently in pilot with a hotel in Dubai. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with emerging models, make meaningful technical decisions and build systems that are used in the real world.

This isn't a research role or a prompt-engineering exercise. We're looking for someone who builds, ships and takes ownership - someone who understands that technically impressive output isn't enough unless it meets the creative brief, holds the brand and works reliably at scale.

What you’ll do

• Build generative AI pipelines: Develop image and video workflows using existing travel footage, selecting models, designing workflows and orchestrating production-ready generation at scale.
• Maintain creative consistency: Build systems that preserve a brand's visual identity across large batches of generated content, using style references, model adaptation and prompt frameworks.
• Develop AI agents: Build agents that can interpret briefs, run generation workflows, interact with our production platform and deliver completed work.
• Own quality and reliability: Combine automated quality checks with human review, identify root causes when outputs fall short and continuously improve results.
• Optimise performance and cost: Increase throughput and reduce cost per asset through smart model selection, batching, caching and workflow optimisation.
• Experiment and innovate: Test new generative models, APIs and agent frameworks as they emerge, turning promising technology into practical capabilities.
• Collaborate and share knowledge: Work closely with our existing AI Developer to build the technology behind our hotel content product and help the wider team make better use of AI.

What you’ll bring

• Production-ready AI engineering: Experience building and shipping generative AI pipelines into production, ideally using diffusion or video models, ComfyUI or similar workflow tools, model APIs and Python.
• Hands-on agent development: Experience building AI agents that other people rely on, including tool use, function calling, MCP or similar technologies, and evaluations to measure reliability.
• A practical, AI-first mindset: Strong capability in at least one of generative AI pipelines or agentic systems, with hands-on experience across both.
• Creative judgement: An eye for quality and the ability to distinguish technically successful output from content that genuinely works creatively and commercially.
• Experience with real-world assets: An understanding of how to extend, adapt and transform existing footage or client-owned assets while respecting brand requirements.
• A focus on measurable outcomes: An appreciation of the cost, quality and throughput trade-offs involved in running AI pipelines and agents in production.
• Ownership and curiosity: A track record of building things yourself, solving problems independently and exploring new technology with a clear focus on what works.

Location: REMOTE core-hours overlap with UK and European time zones.
