Generative AI Enterprise Architect

For our client, we are seeking a Generative AI Enterprise Architect to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will shape the architectural direction for Generative AI and broader AI platform capabilities across the enterprise. You will help define how data, knowledge, models, APIs, and workflows connect to support reliable, scalable decision-making in a complex financial services environment. The position will also guide how AI systems manage ambiguity, data access patterns, and production-quality evaluation standards.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $151,800 – $220,050 annually

Responsibilities

• Define architectural strategy for Generative AI and AI platform capabilities
• Shape structure and access patterns for enterprise data and knowledge
• Establish data flow patterns across ingestion, transformation, and retrieval
• Guide AI systems' handling of ambiguity and non-deterministic behavior
• Influence orchestration of models, data sources, APIs, and workflows
• Set evaluation criteria for AI systems in production, including quality and reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture or AI/ML systems
• Proven experience setting architectural direction and influencing system design
• Strong background in data modeling and large-scale data systems
• Familiarity with Generative AI architectures and modern data/cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Snowflake
