Generator Service Technician

We add value to our customers by providing field services on Sage-owned equipment and customer-owned equipment in the field. Sage Oil Services is currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be a valued member of our team and will contribute directly to the success of the company each and every day. Responsibilities:

· Delivery and start-up of portable natural gas and diesel generators on customer locations

· Perform preventative maintenance services on industrial equipment (oil changes, replace air & fuel filters, replace spark plugs, adjust valves, etc.)

· Perform “drive-by” PM services to ensure high availability of equipment we rent to customers

· Created field service tickets in Connecteam app.

· Act as a company ambassador at all times by conducting services with professionalism, integrity, high attention to detail, and genuine concern for customers

· Perform ancillary maintenance repairs such as replacing low fluids, air filters, fuel filters, etc.

· Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours call-outs

Qualifications/Skills Required/Details:

· Minimum 2+ years performing mechanical services on industrial equipment

· Previous experience as a generator service technician

· Knowledge of generator repair techniques

· Ability to lift heavy objects safely

· Clean driving record required

· Customer service oriented – ability to communicate professionally and clearly with customers. Customer service focused work experience required

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Positive, team-player, and “can do” attitude

· Hourly rate of $20/hr - $30/hr based on experience and attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
