Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Generac and other standby generator systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, load bank testing, and transfer switch inspections
• Recommend solutions that meet customer needs and ensure reliable backup power
• Maintain inventory and materials on company vehicle
• Complete service documentation and invoices accurately
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition
• Deliver exceptional customer service on every call

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of generator or electrical/mechanical service experience
• Hands-on experience with Generac air‑cooled or liquid‑cooled units preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
