About the role

Operate and monitor the performance of genset equipment during regular and emergency operations, ensuring reliable power supply and equipment integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the performance of genset equipment during regular and emergency operations
• Conduct routine checks on fuel, oil, coolant levels, and battery status
• Perform preventive and minor corrective maintenance tasks
• Log daily operating data such as operating hours, fuel consumption, and generator load
• Coordinate with electrical and maintenance teams for any major servicing or repairs
• Ensure gensets are clean, properly ventilated, and safely operated at all times
• Respond promptly to power outages and initiate backup power supply
• Maintain an inventory of genset spare parts, lubricants, and consumables
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental and operational standards

About you

• At least 1–2 years of experience operating diesel generator sets
• Basic knowledge of genset control panels, electrical systems, and safety standards
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Physically fit and willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
• Time management and reliability
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Vocational course in mechanical or electrical technology preferred
• Willing to relocate to Rizal, Palawan
