Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Generator Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will lead the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment, liquid cool/air cooled & diesel generators. Duties

• Lead the diagnosis and repair of engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, power generation equipment, small engines, and heavy machinery to ensure peak operational readiness
• Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics issues and implement effective solutions using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and welding techniques
• Conduct mechanical systems repairs including engine overhaul, generator repair, equipment troubleshooting, and power system maintenance
• Assist in training team members on proper use of tools, safety procedures, and technical protocols while fostering a collaborative work environment
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and equipment movement safely and efficiently
• Maintain detailed service records, diagnostic reports, and work logs to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures

Qualifications

• Proven dealership experience or automotive repair background with a focus on Generac engine repair and mechanical systems
• Strong knowledge of schematics, electrical work, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with engine repair, generator maintenance, welding, soldering, and small engine servicing
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery including power generation systems and vehicle maintenance practices
• Familiarity with Generac equipment or similar heavy-duty machinery is preferred
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical diagnostic tools
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
