Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Transport to and from day service programs as needed (several days per week)

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for changes in condition

• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and provide support during mealtimes and snacks

• Support the development of new skills to enhance confidence and promote independence

• Facilitate community engagement activities based on personal interests and abilities

• Maintain a clean and safe home environment through regular household tasks

• Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to promote well-being and foster trust

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Previous experience working with adults with disabilities, including non-verbal individuals and those with behavioral challenges, is advantageous

• Compassionate, patient, and energetic demeanor

• Strong communication skills

• Dependability and reliability are essential

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

• Background check to be completed prior to employment

• Desire to establish a long-term caregiving relationship

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 9:45 AM

• Friday at 2:00 PM through Monday at 9:45 AM

• Additional daytime hours may be available; details provided during interview (2:00 PM to 7:00 PM)

• Flexible scheduling options to accommodate your lifestyle

• Both daytime and overnight shifts are available

Compensation:

• $16.50 per hour for day shifts, with mileage reimbursement of $0.35 per mile

• Overnight shifts offer a flat stipend of $50.75 for approximately 7 hours
