Geodetic Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct land and construction surveys, including boundary, topographic, and engineering surveys.
• Establish and verify horizontal and vertical control points, benchmarks, and reference lines.
• Perform site measurements and ensure accurate elevation, alignment, coordinates, and dimensions.
• Conduct layout and staking-out works for buildings, roads, structures, utilities, and other construction activities.
• Monitor and verify actual site conditions against approved plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain survey field notes, calculations, survey reports, and as-built survey data.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as Total Station, Auto Level, GNSS/GPS, and other related instruments.
• Perform calculations and process survey data using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other relevant surveying software.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Foremen, subcontractors, and other project personnel regarding survey and layout requirements.
• Conduct regular site verification and ensure that construction works are properly aligned, positioned, and within required tolerances.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies between actual site conditions and construction plans.
• Ensure proper documentation and safekeeping of survey records and equipment.
• Perform other survey-related duties that may be assigned by the Project Manager or immediate superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geodetic Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed Geodetic Engineer (RGE) is preferred/required depending on project requirements.
• With experience in construction surveying, site development, or related field is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in Total Station, Auto Level, GNSS/GPS, and other surveying instruments.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D and other surveying software is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in survey computations, coordinates, elevations, traversing, leveling, and construction layout.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, structural drawings, and construction drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work on active construction sites.
• Willing to conduct fieldwork and travel to different project sites when required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Must be responsible, organized, and able to meet project deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Geodetic Engineer/Survey Engineer in a construction company.
• Experience in building construction, road works, land development, or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with construction surveying standards and procedures.
• With valid PRC license and updated professional documents.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
