About the role

Northland Ventures and Development Incorporated is seeking an experienced Geodetic Engineer to join our team in Davao del Sur, Davao. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our residential sales and property development operations. As a Geodetic Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting precise land surveys, mapping, and measurement work that forms the foundation of our property development projects. Your expertise will ensure that all properties are accurately surveyed, legally compliant, and ready for successful residential sales. This role is integral to maintaining the quality and credibility of our developments whilst supporting our growth objectives in the residential property sector.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geodetic surveys and land measurements for residential development projects
• Prepare accurate survey plans, maps, and technical drawings utilising modern surveying equipment and software
• Establish and verify boundary lines, easements, and property demarcations in accordance with legal requirements
• Analyse survey data and produce comprehensive reports for property documentation and sales purposes
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure survey accuracy for construction planning
• Maintain compliance with relevant Philippine geodetic standards and regulations
• Monitor and document changes to property boundaries and land features throughout project lifecycles
• Provide technical support and expert advice to internal teams and external stakeholders regarding land measurements and property specifications
• Utilise advanced surveying technologies including GPS, total stations, and GIS software
• Maintain detailed records of all survey work and ensure proper documentation for legal and administrative purposes

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering or a related surveying discipline
• Valid Professional Geodetic Engineer (PGE) licence or equivalent certification recognised in the Philippines
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in geodetic surveying and land measurement
• Proficiency with modern surveying equipment including GPS receivers, total stations, and laser scanners
• Strong knowledge of GIS software, AutoCAD, and other surveying design and analysis tools
• Comprehensive understanding of Philippine land laws, property regulations, and cadastral mapping requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in all technical work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in residential property development projects is highly preferred
• Knowledge of current surveying standards and best practices in the real estate and property sector
